This four-toed track was made by a therizinosaur during the Cretaceous Period ~70 million years ago in Denali National Park. These odd, feather-covered, sickle-clawed, pot-bellied dinosaurs are theropods, most of which are bipedal meat eaters. However, therizinosaurs are believed to have been herbivorous based on tooth, jaw, and abdominal characteristics. This 3-D fossil image is available courtesy of Denali National Park and Preserve.
